My fourth brother George is my closest brother and my best friend in the family and I felt united with him. He was my advisor and benefactor during my college days. He took his Bachelor's degree in Physics from St. Berchmans College, Changanasserry and proceeded to the Rewa University for his Master's degree. He chose to teach as his profession and worked as a lecturer, and then as a professor at NSS College. He was the first member of the family who had gone abroad (Nigeria) to work. He was instrumental for me to move to Africa for a teaching job. He was very brave and had a great passion for doing things what he thought was right, and pursued them with great vigor. It was nice growing up with someone like him- someone to lean on someone to count on and someone to trust on.

George married Marykutty, daughter of Kuthukallunkal Thommachen. It was the first arranged love- marriage in the family. She is very gracious and gorgeous. Her unswerving belief in the ability of people around her is commendable. My visit to her was filled with laughter and sumptuous food.
